I'm wondering how often do you have to workout to maintain a fit tone and tight body... I'm a 24 year old woman.. On my hr-hr and 1/2 workout days I do about 2 miles on the tredmill or spinning.. The the rest circuit/strength training.. Yoga twice a week on top of that.. But....... the thing is I sort of splurge on the weekends (I don't workout usually) I do a lot of walking though since i'm at the beach...I started this entire routine about 2 weeks ago... Will this be enough to get a super tone beach body? Or is the splurging on the weekends and not working out bad?? How can I get my financial situation under control?

I admit I have a real problem. I have a steady job I make enough money to say that I can get things paid but I am just not good with money. Card value is VERY different based on exactly what you have. I would seperate yours based on team -or- player. I would also look closely on certain stars that could be worth a lot more than 10 cents each. (i.e. Jordan, Kobe, Jeter.) It is really difficult to give you a for sure answer on how to sell based on what you have. My only advice is to seperate them into lots of players and teams you think would sell. If you think they are junk, they probably wont sell. You could also try craigslist and list them all for 1 price, see if anyone nibbles. If i'm honest, the whole 'fallen-angel' idea has been so overdone in literature recently. It's like the number 2. over-done idea after vampires. However, I like your plot. So I think you should tweak it and create a new kind of supernatural creature, not one that has been over-done a billion times before. Find something unique and new that will interest the reader. Do I have arachnophobia?

All my life I've been scared of spiders, since my mother made up the "biting spider" that lives in the basement and dies on Christmas day to keep me from seeing the gifts in the basement. But I'm not sure if I qualify for having the phobia. I heard that just seeing a picture of a spider would make an arachnophobe have like a seizure. This morning I saw a spider in the basement with leg span of about a 50 cent coin and screamed at the top of my lungs, ran upstairs, and called my mom to hurry home to kill the tarantula in the basement. I know that is quite irrational, but I did not have a seizure or anything. And I actually study spiders all night some days on the computer, interested in the different kinds and the most venomous. But whenever I see one, I freak out and if it's at night when I'm alone downstairs, there are issues. The most recent time I saw one scurry across the floor, I sprinted upstairs to my bedroom and shut the door and went to sleep in fear, without even leaving my room to brush my teeth. Before that, I spent an hour trying to kill a tiny spider, which I eventually did, using 2 five pound weights, a guitar hero controller, and a flip flop. Although this happens to me with most bugs, spiders are the only ones that make me scream (with the exception of large silverfish and house centipedes). Do I actually have arachnophobia? Or is it just a small fear that generates huge screams? Just note that when I am fleeing a room, I don't grab anything but myself, not even my phone.

NROTC without Scholarship?

I want to be an officer in the Navy. I want to be a computer programmer within it. I'm really trying to get into Anapolis or the Scholarship but I don't think I will. I am worried that if I don't get the scholarship and go into the Navy as a comissioned Ensign I will not have enough money to pay back my student loans by the time my first enlistment is up (four years to pay it off but i'll probably serve more)? I really want to go to the Navy to carry on the tradition of my family but I don't want to have to serve while figuring out how to pay for my student loans and still having them when I go into the private sector. Schools I would be looking at would be Pitt, Penn State, and University of Arizona (approx. 20k/year). I don't want to sound like I'm only doing this for money. If I was I would not be considering doing ROTC while not on scholarship. I want to serve my country but I am very worried about paying for college. The hush puppie evolved from campfire cooks giving leftover bits of friend dough used for battering fish or other foods to their dogs, saying 'hush puppy', so the story goes. It would be difficult to find a UK equivalent, because they do not sell cornmeal readily over here. Polenta and Semolina are not quite the same thing as cornmeal. I would like to read a book upon adventure/romance...any suggestions?

Well, I love books on adventure/romance. I have read The Hunger Games. I have read Hush Hush and Crescendo. The Twilight Saga is just romance I think but I have also read those.

Help? What can I do about this fear?!?

For a long time in my life I have been abused and bullied, both by my parents and people in school. I also had precocious puberty which caused accelerated bone age, so that I stopped growing before I was supposed to and now I've been only 5'1 and about 85 llbs for the entirety of highschool and was always picked on by boys calling me ugly, even though I was shy and minded my own business. Even guys at the mall and in random places call me ugly, or just "that chick has NO sex appeal" which is what some dude said somewhat recently. Um...wow, thanks for your two cents there, buddy. And he wasn't even good looking himself lol, but he was huge, so maybe he just hated my size? idk, whatever. But this, outside of how my family treats me, is what i have to deal with n a regular basis. I've never had any siblings and my parents always gang up on me to bully and sometimes flat out abuse me. As a kid I was obsessed with the idea of protection, and hat was one of the sole reasons i wanted a boyfriend, but of course that didn't happen, and the few guys i did date were all EXTREMELY rude to me about my size and would try to flat out bully me about the way i looked until i dumped them. And now its like I'm afraid of everything, so paralyzed by fear that I can't live my life, i feel like its not even worth it anymore, what can i do??!!

I dont really like books that are about real events like a history book. I like books that are in depth, and very vivid and feel like there is a movie playing in your mind. Herb Garden Expert? Help Needed...?

The bugs probably came with the plants when you bought them. Disposing of them was the right thing to do. They are probably the critters we call "white flies". Once they invade a plant there is no hope for revival. Here in east Texas cilantro,chives,onions,and dill start to die off in the late spring/early summer.The "tarragon" you referred to is more likely an herb called Mexican mint marigold. It doesn't do well in the summer either. But don't discard it or the chives ,when the weather cools down they'll start growing again (perennials). I suggest you get another parsley. They grow for 2 years - a real thing of beauty. It is my favorite herb to grow!

Help! I feel so guilty for quitting my job?

okay so I work in a restaurant as a waitress, recently the only manager left, and as a result the restaurant is being run completely by the owner. Now, I won't say he is a bad man. But he has a tendency to yell, and can get very abusive. If you stuff up an order, he will send someone to tell you to meet him out the back of the restaurant where he will cuss and insult you. The chefs get the grunt of it but the waitresses are always being watched and yelled at also. As well as that, we have to tell customers that want to pay in cash to pay at the register not through the waitress. This is so any spare change is put into a tip box, not given to the waitress. the box gets a lot on money put into it. in 12 months working there I have not seen a cent. So last week I realised the pressure of this job was affecting my school work. I am finishing school and I really need to do the best I can. So I gave my two weeks. I didn't realise it, but that day another waitress and a bartender quit. This seems to have spurred a mass exodus, and a further two waitresses and a chef have quit. he was clearly stressed about it, little does he know that two more waitresses are quitting, without notice! I feel bad because I know I can get another job, but this is this man's livelihood, and I don't want to be part of the reason things go wrong for him. what is the right thing to do? He now has a total of 4 wait staff and a bartender... And we are a busy place. Should I offer to work every day till my notice is up? Should I stay on? Or does he not deserve it? Also do you think he will give me a bad reference for leaving the same time as everyone else and leaving him kind of screwed?

The father of my child and I have been apart for 9 months or more. He is with someone else and got her pregnant as well. I am also with someone else but, I was having money trouble and filed for temporary family assistance. In order to receive it I have to file for child support. You should definitely go talk to a counsellor of some sort - there might be one at your school, if not talk to a teacher. I know its horrible having to open yourself up to someone you barely know but you've done it here so you can do it to them!! One of my friends had a similarish problem and they found that talking to a counsellor really helped. Help me get through age 15?

Ok so I'm 15 years old, and ill be 16 in 148 days. And right now I'm feeling like 15 sucks. I really want to get the new iphone, but i have no job... which means no money. If i was 16 i could be able to get a job a lot easier then now (which would involve getting a workers permit and there is a slim chance anybody would hire me). Also, i really with i could drive. I'm in driver's ed right now, and whenever my just turned 17 year old sister takes the car and is able to hang out with friends and go places I am extremely jealous. I always want to escape my house because of course because I'm a teenager I am easily emotional and lately me and my dad have not gotten along well at all. And last but not least... dating. This is what set me over the edge today, and caused my reason for asking this half question. Me and this guy in my drivers ed class and from school have been texting a lot lately and have hung out after drivers ed, and we have a thing (aka we both like eachother). So today we decided we should just go see a movie and hang out a little. I was overjoyed with this. He even said his mom would like to know if i needed a ride home from the movies. So, i went and asked my mom if i could go to the movies with him, and that his mom could even give me the ride. She was hesitant to answer at first and then said no. So of course i asked why. And she tells me "Your not 16, your not allowed to date." So i tell her its not really a date, its just a movie... because in reality it was, since most likely he wasn't going to make any major moves that night. And right when i got hope that she was changing her mind, she crushed them she told me "lets ask your father." So then he tells me only if im nicer to him he will let me go. But then after i don't walk away right after and i begin to open my mouth again to finish asking him, he says "so whats the catch?" Now i've learned over the past few days that fighting him only makes matters worse... plus i felt like on the verge of crying due to my crazy emotions. So right as i was leaving the kitchen my mom just looks at me and in a hushed tone tells me "I know being a teenagers hard." Tell me about it. Now my parents have always said i can't date until im 16, but i always figured that meant like being serious, and i never even under stood it then. And now here I am age 15, a straight A student, never did drugs, never even tried a sip of alcohol, and all i want to do is go to the movies with a guy alone. To me I find it hard to believe that you can win a 50" HDTV that retails for $2000 for $50. So I went to the docs and she said I have shingles (she got another doc to check and he said shingles straight away). I'm from England, I'm only 15. I live with my mum and haven't seen my dad in ages. My mums family don't talk much about my dad's family and when I ask them about them it's all hush hush. Slight cramping, frequent urination, 5 days late for AF but 2 negative hpts..?

I am now 5 days late. I have noticed more frequent urination and some slight cramping recently. I am hoping that in fact I am pregnant..I have been trying to conceive for awhile now. I took 1 hpt 2 days after AF was due and got a negative result. Then i tested again yesterday and again negative. I am buying the cheap 99 cents store brands but I heard the work just the same.. Help! I feel so guilty for quitting my job?

okay so I work in a restaurant as a waitress, recently the only manager left, and as a result the restaurant is being run completely by the owner. Now, I won't say he is a bad man. But he has a tendency to yell, and can get very abusive. If you stuff up an order, he will send someone to tell you to meet him out the back of the restaurant where he will cuss and insult you. The chefs get the grunt of it but the waitresses are always being watched and yelled at also. As well as that, we have to tell customers that want to pay in cash to pay at the register not through the waitress. This is so any spare change is put into a tip box, not given to the waitress. the box gets a lot on money put into it. in 12 months working there I have not seen a cent. So last week I realised the pressure of this job was affecting my school work. I am finishing school and I really need to do the best I can. So I gave my two weeks. I didn't realise it, but that day another waitress and a bartender quit. This seems to have spurred a mass exodus, and a further two waitresses and a chef have quit. he was clearly stressed about it, little does he know that two more waitresses are quitting, without notice! I feel bad because I know I can get another job, but this is this man's livelihood, and I don't want to be part of the reason things go wrong for him. what is the right thing to do? He now has a total of 4 wait staff and a bartender... And we are a busy place. Should I offer to work every day till my notice is up? Should I stay on? Or does he not deserve it? Also do you think he will give me a bad reference for leaving the same time as everyone else and leaving him kind of screwed?
