Hi I just wanted to know whether Theodoric Voler was blind in the story "The Mouse" by Saki?

Please Help me cause my teacher says tat theodoric voler is blind but in my friends and my opinion the woman is blind so we told her and she calls us dumb people so i need help. THANKS!!!!
